This article addresses the question of using UV light as a disinfectant on Elo touchscreens.

We are aware of UV (Ultra-Violet) light antimicrobial solutions in the market. The use of UV light antimicrobial solutions will not impact the reliability or performance of Elo touchscreens.  We obviously cannot comment on the effectiveness of specific UV light solutions not developed by Elo.

Elo is evaluating variety of antimicrobial technical solutions, UV light is one.
