This article describe which Operating Systems can be used on an Optical monitor

Elo's legacy Optical (camera based) technology was discontinued in 2015 and is no longer supported. During its lifetime, Optical technology was only qualified to work on Windows XP (single touch only) and Windows 7 Operating Systems. Neither of these systems required a touch driver to be installed. 

Optical technology is not compatible with Linux, Macintosh, Android, DOS, or any Pre-Windows XP Operating Systems
