This article explains how to find out how many hours a 02-Series IDS monitor has been in use

To see how many hours an 02-Series IDS monitor has been in use, follow the below steps:

1. Get into the OSD Factory Menu of the monitor, see two different methods below:

Method 1 IDS Monitor with ECM (requires an RJ45 Remote):

1. With unit off, press the “Select” button on the remote OSD and keep it pressed. 
2. Press and release the “Power” button on the remote OSD. 
3. When video is noted on the screen release the “Select” button.
4. Press the “Menu” button on the remote OSD. Factory Menu should appear.

Method 2 IDS Monitor without ECM (requires an RJ45 Remote):

1. Power down IDS monitor, leave external computer on.
2. With monitor off, press the “Select” button on the OSD and keep it pressed. 
3. Press and release the “Power” button on the OSD. 
4. When video is noted on the screen release the “Select” button.
5. Press the “Menu” button on the OSD. Factory Menu Should appear.

2. Once in the OSD Factory Menu, you will find the total hours listed at the top of the menu:

• Total Time of System On (HR) (Min)
• Total Panel Backlight Time On (HR) (Min)
