CAD files have specific file formats. To open a CAD file you must have CAD viewer software on your computer and it must contain the file extensions in which the file is formatted with.

Most Elo CAD files are in STEP file (.STP) or .IGES format. If you were to try and open either of these types of files on a computer with no CAD software, you would receive an error message similar to below:



There are several free online CAD file viewers that you can upload .STP or .IGES files to and view, such as Autodesk Viewer online .

If you are simply looking for dimensions of Elo products, there are typically dimensional drawings available for each product that only require a .pdf viewer, such as Adobe Acrobat, to open.
