How to Disable Hardware Handshaking in the Windows NT Driver (v3.1c)
This article describes how to manually disable hardware handshaking within the legacy Windows NT v3.1c touch driver from Elo — Now part of Zebra Technologies.

Registry Modification Instructions
- Open the registry editor by running
regedt32. Navigate to the following registry path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\MonMouse\Touchscreen0\ParametersNote: There is a separate registry key for each installed touchscreen. If you have multiple touchscreens, you will need to repeat this process forTouchscreen1,Touchscreen2, etc.- Locate and double-click the
HardwareHandshakingkey. - Enter
0as the value (corresponding toREG_DWORD 0x00) and click OK. - Close the registry editor and restart the computer to apply the changes.
