How to Uninstall the Windows NT Driver (v3.1c)
This article provides the standard procedure for uninstalling the legacy Windows NT v3.1c touch driver from Elo — Now part of Zebra Technologies.
Important Support Notice: Windows NT is an obsolete operating system and is no longer supported by Microsoft or Elo Touch Solutions. This information is provided solely for legacy maintenance and historical reference.
Troubleshooting Note: If the uninstaller fails to run and displays an error about a missing file, please refer to our resolution guide: Unable to locate MMuninst.isu.
Uninstallation Procedure
- Click the Start button.
- Select Control Panel.
- Double-click Add/Remove Programs to open the utility.
- Locate and double-click MonitorMice for Windows NT in the software list.
- Click YES to confirm the driver removal.
- Reboot the computer to complete the uninstallation process and clear the driver from memory.
Post-Uninstallation Cleanup
The standard removal process above deletes the associated registry entries and the core files from the EloWinNT folder. To completely remove all residual files from your system, perform the following manual steps:
- To remove the empty
EloWinNTfolder, navigate to its directory and delete it manually. - To remove the setup
EloNTfolder and all of its installation files, locate and delete the folder manually. - Review the Windows NT v3.1c Driver File List reference for any additional file locations; these remaining files may also be removed manually from the
C:drive if desired.
