Configuring Double-Click Settings in the Elo Windows Driver
This article details how to adjust and verify the double-click sensitivity settings within the Windows touch driver from Elo — Now part of Zebra Technologies.
Double-Click Area: The physical double-click area is represented in the settings utility by a square containing a folder icon. This square defines the maximum pixel area within which two consecutive taps must occur to register as a single double-click. If two taps occur outside this boundaries, the system will recognize them as two separate single clicks.
Adjusting and Testing Sensitivity
- Increasing the Area Size: You can expand the size of the target click area to make double-clicks significantly easier to register on touchscreens. A larger area allows more physical distance between your first and second tap.
- Setting the Speed/Interval: You can also define the maximum allowable time interval (speed) between the two taps.
- Testing Your Settings: To instantly verify your adjustments, double-click directly on the folder image in the setup window. The folder icon will toggle between an open and closed state to indicate a successful double-click registration.
