Select Elo 03-Series Medical Desktop Touchmonitors (TouchPro® PCAP) support legacy Serial (RS-232 / COM port) touch communication utilizing an optional custom VGA-to-Serial Y-cable assembly. This capability allows modern medical PCAP displays to interface with legacy medical equipment, diagnostic carts, and specialized operating systems (such as Windows XP) that mandate RS-232 serial touch controllers.

Touch Driver Download & Installation Steps

When operating via RS-232 serial connection or deploying on Windows XP, follow the driver installation procedure below:

1. Visit the official Elo Touch Driver & Software Download Portal.
2. Select your target host operating system from the Operating System dropdown menu.
3. Select TouchPro (Projected Capacitive) or Serial Touch under the Technologies menu.

4. Download the driver package.

   ⚠️ Driver Version Requirement: For RS-232 serial touch operation on Windows, the installed Elo Multi-Touch driver version must be Version 7.0 or higher.
5. Run the installer, select the Serial / COM Port installation option during setup, select the corresponding COM port (e.g., COM1, COM2), and complete the calibration wizard.
