This article provides instructions on how to lock an I-Series 4.0 or Backpack 4.0 device to a specific Wi-Fi band

Many wireless networks use one name for both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. Some situations may require an Elo device only connecting to one frequency. This can be accomplished by following the steps below.

1. Press Home and Power buttons simultaneously to access the Control Panel

2. Enter the Control Panel password ("1elo" is default or find in EloView)



3. Tap the hamburger button 

4. Tap Admin

5. Enter the Admin password ("1elo" is default or find in EloView )



6. Tap on Settings



7. Select Android Settings



8. Select Network & Internet



9. Tap on Wi-Fi



10. Tap on Wi-Fi Preferences 



11. Select Advanced



12. Tap Frequency band to choose between Auto, 2.4 GHz, or 5 GHz
