This article describes how to install a .ISO image to an Elo AIO TouchComputer
This was specifically written for the EloPOS and Windows I-Series 2.0 devices.
1. If you did not create a recovery flash drive of your system when you first set it up, you can request a .iso file from Elo Tech Support, send an email request to Support@elotouch.com along with the serial number of your Elo AIO device. If there is a .iso available, a link to the recovery .iso will be emailed to you to download the image.
2. Once you download the .iso image, use an imaging utility to extract the .iso to a 16GB or larger USB flash drive. A good utility for this is RUFUS: https://rufus.ie/
(Note: Elo is not responsible for the support of this 3rd party utility. You can use any similar utility to perform the procedure).
3. Open the above mentioned utility and select the newly downloaded .iso file.
4. Once the .iso is selected, it will extract the image to the USB flash drive.
5. Once the .iso image is extracted to the USB flash drive, remove it and connect the flash drive to the Elo AIO TouchComputer and boot from it. (You may need to enter the BIOS and set your First Boot Device to UEFI USB Flash Drive)
6. When the system boots up from the USB flash drive, you will be presented with the Elo OS Recovery Solution (UEFI Firmware) screen. Choose the first option: Install Partition Recovery Solution.
7. Choose Select Image
8. Choose Test Hardware
9. Choose Start
10. The image will then begin being applied to the system. This will happen in four phases, see below for each phase.
11. After the fourth phase completes, you will receive a Success! message. You can now Close the utility, remove the USB Flash Drive and restart the computer.
