This article explains how to disable the beep sound in the 7.0.1 driver

To disable the beep sound in the 7.0.1 driver (and all 7.x drivers), follow the below steps.

1. Open the Elo driver utility by clicking on the EloConfig icon on your desktop.



2. Click on the Touchscreen Properties... button 



3. Go to the Touch Sounds section and uncheck all the sound option boxes, then click Apply
