Whenever submitting a support request to Elo Tech Support, it is helpful to include as much information as possible about your system, setup, and the issue you are experiencing. Below is good example of items to list whenever submitting an inquiry with the Support team.
1. Provide the 10-character serial number from the barcode on the back of the Elo product.
2. Describe which cables are being connected from the monitor to the PC, ie: USB, VGA, HDMI, DVI, DP, RS232
3. List any type of long cables, extenders, boosters, hubs, KVM switches, splitters, etc. that may be in the setup.
4. List which type of USB port you are connecting to, ie: USB 1.0, USB 2.0, USB 3.0
5. Provide details of the Operating System that is being used, ie: Windows XP, 7, 8, 8.1, 10, Linux, Android, Mac, etc.
6. Provide the version of the Elo touch driver installed on the system, ie: v5.8.2, v6.9.1, v7.0.3, etc.
7. Describe the issue in as much detail as possible; provide screenshots, video clips, log files, etc.
