This article explains DDC/CI and MCCS Support on 03-IDS Monitors
DDC/CI commands are supported through HDMI, VGA and DisplayPort on the 03-Series IDS monitors, as described on page 19 of the User's Guide. MCCS commands are supported through the HDMI port.
Controlling the IDS Display remotely
The IDS Display allows remote access from a host application. This is done using either the VESA Display Data Channel Command Interface (DDC/CI) or the Multiple Display Control command sets. Users can communicate with the monitor through either of these protocols. The host application can send a variety of different commands which will be executed on the IDS Display. For detailed information regarding the command set, refer to the application note available here.
CEC Functionality (Consumer Electronic Control)
The IDS Display is equipped with CEC capability. If a host device (with CEC built in) is connected to the monitor through HDMI, the monitor can be turned on by only turning the host device on.
NOTE: Sending DDC/CI and MCCS commands through the USB-C port on the 03-Series IDS monitors is NOT supported.
