The article below provides steps showing how to open a Chrome browser in fullscreen mode to a specific website at startup. This is not a true "Kiosk" mode, as a user still has the capability of exiting fullscreen mode; however, it works as a simple way to display a single website at fullscreen.
This procedure is performed with Google Chrome version: 122.0.6261.95
Steps
1. Click on your User icon in the upper right area of the Chrome browser. Under Other Profiles, choose + Add
2. Choose Continue without an account
3. Enter the desired name and choose Done then close the browser window
4. Open the Chrome browser again and click on the three (3) dots at the top right of the newly created browser profile
5. Choose Edit from the menu
6. Scroll down to the end of the window and enable Create desktop shortcut then close the Chrome browser window
7. Go to the desktop and find the newly added shortcut
8. Right-click on the shortcut then choose Properties from the menu
9. In the Target field, delete everything after \chrome.exe" and replace it with --start-fullscreen https://www.elotouch.com/ then choose Apply and OK
10. Now when you open the Chrome browser it will open in fullscreen to the website you entered into the Target field
11. To Exit fullscreen, press F11 on a connected keyboard, or long press on the touchscreen until the X appears, then touch the X to close fullscreen.
