This article explains how to upgrade the firmware on Elo 03/53 series IDS monitors
The below steps describe how to update the firmware on Elo's IDS-03 and IDS-53 digital signage monitors.
Required Materials
- Windows 7 / 10 host computer (32-bit or 64-bit)
- Video cable (HDMI)
- USB cable (Type A to Type B)
- MultiISP_v1.84 software
- IDS-03, IDS-53 Firmware download appropriate fw for your monitor)
Steps for Upgrading Firmware on IDS-03 Series Monitors
1. Turn ON the 03/53 IDS Monitor:

Ensure the IDS-03 monitor is powered on.
2. Connect the Video and USB Cables:

Connect one end of the HDMI video cable to the host PC and the other end to the IDS monitor.

Connect the USB cable (Type A to Type B) from the host PC to the USB Type B port on the IDS monitor.
3. Install the USB Driver on the Host PC:

This is required for proper communication between the PC and the monitor.

Download the MultilSP_v1.84 and unzip to a location on the host PC.

Open the Driver installer folder.

Double-click Install the GLUSBFLT_SETUP_V3.11.exe driver file on the host PC.
4. Open the MultiISP Software:

After installing the driver, open the MultiISP.exe program on the host PC.
5. Load the Firmware File:

In the MultiISP software, check the "Scaler" checkbox.

Press the "Open" button and select the firmware file that will be used for the upgrade.
6. Start the Firmware Update Process:

Click the "START" icon to initiate the firmware update process.

Wait for the update to complete.
7. Finish and Reboot:

Once the update is finished, click โOKโ and then โExitโ in the MultiISP software to reboot the monitor.

Ensure that the firmware file is compatible with the IDS-03 or IDS-53 monitor model.

Do not disconnect the video or USB cables during the firmware update process.

It is recommended to perform the firmware upgrade in a stable environment to avoid any interruptions.
