This article explains how to install drivers from Elo driver packs for AIO devices
To install drivers from a Driver Pack on Elo's Windows AIO systems, follow the below steps:
1. Visit the Computer Driver Pack Download section of the Elo website.
2. Choose your product from the drop-down list and download the appropriate driver pack.
- In the below example, we are searching for a driver pack for the following 15-inch EloPOS TouchComputer with an i5 processor: E892761: EPS15E5-2UWA-1-MT-8G-2S-W1-64-BK
- Start by choosing "EloPOS" from the Product menu:
- Next, find driver packs for a 15-inch EloPOS with i5 processor.
- Since this is a 15-inch model with an i5 processor, we find those in the list of available driver packs.
- Notice there is a driver pack for system drivers and a driver pack for peripheral drivers. If you are using peripherals such as a Barcode Scanner, MSR, FingerPrint reader, etc. then you can also download the peripheral driver pack. If you are not using peripherals then you only need the System driver pack.
3. Unzip the driver pack to a location on the computer - make note of the location.
- In this example we have created a folder on our computer in the following directory: C:\EloPOS System\Driver Packs\EloPOS 15-Inch i5 Driver Pack
- Extract the .zip file to the saved folder location:
- Below shows the extracted files:
4. Go into Windows Device Manager and look for any missing drivers (caution symbols, errors, yellow exclamation marks, etc.)
- In this example, the Ethernet Controller driver is missing (also known as a LAN or Local Area Network):
- To install the Ethernet Controller driver (LAN driver), find the LAN folder in the driver pack, unzip it: and then double-click it to execute the driver installation:
- Alternatively, you can also right click on the missing device driver in Device Manager, choose "Update Driver" then choose "Browse to a location on my computer" and navigate to the location of the unzipped driver and install it that way. If you need help with this, please visit Microsoft's article for installing missing device drivers .
5. Repeat the above for each missing system driver.
