This article provides the removal process for the hard drive in a Windows I-Series 1.0 devices

Please follow the below process to remove the hard drive in a Windows I-Series 1.0 device:

Steps
1. Place I-Series face down on a protective surface.
a. Using fingers, pull upwards on the two tabs on the left and right side of the rear plastic cover, slide cover up towards top of unit and lift off.

 

b. Using fingers, pull metal tab labeled 1 upwards to release from the black plastic tab.
c. Pull the Mylar handle, labeled 2 downward on HDD/SSD to release it from the SATA connector.

 

d. Remove HDD/SSD from slot and replace with compatible drive.
