This article explains what to do if after upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and you are unable to install the Elo touch driver
Some customers have had an issue with their touch driver after updating their Windows 7 computer to Windows 10. They are unable to uninstall the Elo touch driver in order to install a new driver. Below are some steps to try for systems that are having this issue.
1. Open Windows Task Manager by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del on your keyboard.
2. You may need to click on the "more details" button at the bottom of Task Manager to expand it.
3. Under the Processes tab search for anything with Elo in the name, click on it and end task. Do the same under the Details tab
4. Go to the Services tab and look for any Elo services that are running. Right click and choose "Stop"
5. Go to C: Program Files and delete any Elo folders.
6. Go to C: Program Files (x86) and look for any Elo folders and delete.
7. Go to the Windows search bar and do a search for elo and delete any other instances on the machine
8. Restart the computer and try installing the driver again.
