This article addresses compatibility of the new, E134286, Elo Fingerprint Reader with legacy U.ar.U 4500 drivers and software.

Elo's current generation Fingerprint Scanner, P/N: E134286, is integrated with HID Global's TouchChip® TCET Module. These scanners are NOT compatible with our legacy fingerprint scanners (E001001) which used Digital Persona's U.are.U 4500 module.
