Is the new, E134286, Elo Fingerprint Reader compatible with U.are.U 4500 drivers and software?

This article addresses compatibility of the new, E134286, Elo Fingerprint Reader with legacy U.ar.U 4500 drivers and software.

Elo's current generation Fingerprint Scanner, P/N: E134286, is integrated with HID Global's TouchChip® TCET Module. These scanners are NOT compatible with our legacy fingerprint scanners (E001001) which used Digital Persona's U.are.U 4500 module.
