This article provides instructions for removing the stand from the Elo 2201L touch monitor. This is typically required for VESA mounting or servicing. 

Instructions

1. Lay the Monitor Face Down

Place the monitor on a clean, flat, and soft surface with the display facing downward to avoid damage.

2. Remove the Rear Center Plastic Cover

Push the two retaining tabs outward and lift to remove the center plastic cover from the rear of the monitor.

3. Remove the Side Plastic Covers

Pull outward on the retaining tabs located on each side plastic piece, then pull upward to remove both covers.

4. Confirm All Plastic Covers Are Removed

Ensure that all plastic components shown below have been removed to expose the VESA mounting area.

5. Remove the VESA Screws

Use a screwdriver to remove the VESA screws now visible beneath the plastic covers. These screws secure the stand to the monitor.

6. Lift the Stand Off

Once the screws are removed, lift the stand away from the back of the monitor.

Additional Notes

• Keep all screws and plastic parts for future reassembly if needed.

• Do not force any parts. If resistance is felt, double-check for any remaining tabs or screws.

• For reinstallation, reverse the steps above.
