This article provides instructions on how to enter and exit OSD Factory Mode on Elo's ETxx70L-2xx... and ETxx04L-2xx... monitors that are equipped with a touch enabled OSD menu.
Factory mode is used for advanced diagnostics and configuration purposes. Caution: Unauthorized modifications in factory mode can impact the monitor’s functionality. Proceed with care.
How to Enter Factory Mode
To access OSD Factory Mode, follow these steps:

Ensure the monitor is powered on.

Power off the unit using AC power (disconnect from the wall outlet or unplug the power cord).

⚠️ Do not use DC power off (via the power button) to shut down the monitor.

Press and hold the power button on the monitor.
-
While holding the power button, restore AC power (plug the power cord back in or switch the outlet back on).
-
Continue holding the power button until the Elo logo appears on the screen.

Release the power button.

The monitor will now be in OSD Factory Mode, indicated by the letter "F" in the far right of the menu.

Touch the menu area near the letter "F" to open the Factory Menu.

Use your finger to navigate the menu using the "Up", "Down", and "Select" options.

After making the desired changes, exit the Factory Menu.
How to Exit Factory Mode
You can exit OSD Factory Mode using one of the following methods:

Method 1: Power off the monitor using DC power (via the power button).

Method 2: Perform a “Reset” from the Factory Menu.

This restores the monitor to its default factory settings.

Method 3: Select “Recall Defaults” from the User Menu.
-
This resets user-defined settings to the original factory defaults.

Modifying advanced settings in Factory Mode is not recommended unless explicitly instructed by Elo support.

Improper changes can affect monitor calibration, display settings, or performance.

If you encounter issues, power cycle the monitor or perform a reset to restore factory settings.
