This article explains how to disable the Elo splash screen through the Factory OSD Menu on an ET1302L Touchmonitor

The Elo ET1302L touchmonitor has a feature when AC power is first turned on, the monitor will display a full-screen Elo logo for 5 seconds before displaying regular video or entering sleep mode. To turn off this feature, please see steps below.

1. Connect video source to monitor and connect AC power cord.

2. Turn off DC power by pressing the Power button on the OSD keys on back of monitor.



3. Press and hold the Select and Power buttons in at the same time.



4. When video appears on the screen, release all buttons, then press the Menu button.



5. Use the Up/Down arrow keys to navigate to the "F" in the upper left corner of the Main Menu, then press the Select button to enter the Factory OSD Menu.



6. You are now in the Elo Factory OSD Menu. Use the Up/Down arrow buttons on back of monitor to navigate the menu until you get to ELO LOGO ON.



7. Press the Select button then press either the Up or Down Arrow button to toggle the setting from ON to OFF.
When OFF appears, press the Select button again. You should see ELO LOGO OFF in white letters as shown below.



8. Use the Up/Down arrow buttons to navigate to the Exit option in the menu  and press the Select button to exit the menu, or turn monitor power off and back on. You should no longer see the Elo splash screen during monitor power up.
