How to Enable and Disable OSD Menu and Power Button Lockouts on Elo Touchmonitors

Elo touchmonitors feature built-in button lockout combinations designed for public, retail, and interactive kiosk environments to prevent unauthorized users from altering display adjustments or inadvertently turning off power to the monitor.
Physical OSD Control Buttons
Five On-Screen Display (OSD) control buttons are located along the rear or bottom edge of the monitor housing:
Lockout Key Combinations & Procedures
| Feature | Key Combination | Behavior When Enabled |

| OSD Menu Lockout | Press and hold Menu and | Locks all on-screen menu functions. Pressing Menu, Up, Down, or Select keys will have no effect and will not open the OSD menu. |
| Power Button Lockout | Press and hold Menu and | Disables the external power switch. Pressing the physical power button will have no effect, preventing accidental shutdown. |
✔ To Unlock: Repeat the identical 2-second button press combination to toggle the OSD Menu or Power button lock feature back to the Disabled / Unlocked state.
