This article explains how to disable the Elo splash screen through the Factory OSD Menu on an ET1502L Touchmonitor
Hardware/Software Needed
• Elo 1502L touch monitor connected to a computer.
Steps
- Connect the 1502L touch monitor to a computer video source.
- Press the Power button and confirm display operation.
- Press the Power button again to turn off the display.
- While holding the Select button, press the Power button to turn on the unit. This will allow for access to the Factory menu.
- Press the Menu button.
- The letter F should appear in the upper left corner of the OSD menu. If it doesn’t, turn off the display and repeat step 4.

- Scroll through the OSD menu using the L or R (left or right arrow) buttons to highlight the F and press Select. The Factory display/menu will appear on the screen.
- Scroll through the selections using the L or R button to highlight ELO LOGO.
- Use the L or R button to change the setting to Off. Press Select.
- Be careful not to disturb any other options.

- Use the L or R button to scroll through the options and highlight Exit and press Select.
- Cycle power by removing the monitor's power cable for 30-seconds then reconnect cable.
- Verify that the Elo logo does not appear during the power on sequence.
