Why is there no audio when connecting USB-C on 1002L and 1502L?

This article explains why there is no audio when connecting only USB-C to an Elo 1002L and 1502L

On the Elo 1002L and 1502L, if using only a USB-C Cable for power, touch, and data, the internal audio board becomes disabled. This information is shown on page page 8 of the User's Manual. For audio capabilities, you must use the DC power adapter.
