This article discusses why the mouse and keyboard stop working when users try installing Windows 7 on Elo touch computers
This is a known Windows issue. Windows 7 does not have USB 3.0 support, therefore, if you try to install that OS on one of our products that have USB 3.0 then this will happen.
The only way to fix this is by adding USB 3.0 support into your image build. This is not something the average user should attempt to do. If you have the technical capabilities of building and manipulating operating system build files, then you should follow the information provided by Intel for adding USB 3.0 support.
