Executive Summary
Windows 10 has a built in BOOT logger to aid in troubleshooting startup/shutdown/restart errors. This is disabled by default and must be enabled to use. Below steps describe how to enable and use this feature.

Steps
1. Press Win + R keys together on the keyboard and type msconfig in the Run box. Press Enter.
2. When UAC appears, navigate to the Boot tab.
3. Enable Boot log and OS boot information under the Boot options group.
4. You will be prompted to restart Windows 10. Click on Restart, the operating system will be rebooted.
5. The boot log is stored in the file C:\Windows\ntbtlog.txt and can be opened with your favorite text editor app like Notepad. Just type the following command into the “run” box and save: notepad %SystemRoot%\ntbtlog.txt
