This article explains how to adjust brightness on an Elo monitor in Windows 10 without using brightness adjustment settings 

The Windows 10 brightness adjustment is for controlling video displays that are built into the computer system such as Laptops, All-In-One PC's, and Tablets. These settings typically will not work on a connected monitor. This is mentioned in Microsoft's article #4026946 . 



To change the brightness settings on an Elo monitor, you will need to physically press the menu buttons on the monitor or the wired OSD remote (if equipped) to make the adjustments. These settings can be found in the User's Guide for each product.
