This article provides information concerning 1302L External Component Updates from March 30, 2021

To maintain the latest regulatory requirements and to support continuity of supply, the 1302L product family will update several of the core components including panels, touchscreen, and touch controller.  The changes will be rolled into the existing SKUs providing seamless form fit and function of the product.  There are no changes to 1302L I/O offering or arrangement on the product.  The external ID of the product is not changing.  Nevertheless, it’s important to provide more details around the changes being made and its implementation to ensure good communication and support for our customers.

Resume Display Support:
Post update, Elo released and implemented a FW improvement for early units showing slightly longer display resume on touch performance.  A display configuration using the DC power adapter, the standard USB-A to USB-C touch cable, and the HDMI or VGA video cable may take up to 25 seconds for resume.  A downloadable FW file is released and available to improve this performance.
