This article explains what to do when Internet Explorer crashes when you open it
Some customers have reported issues with Internet Explorer (IE) on their Elo AIO Windows 10 devices crashing or not opening.
Examples:
- When clicking on the IE application it crashes or will not open at all.
- Whenever I try to open Internet Explorer the Window opens but content is blank and then application closes after about 10 seconds.
Below are a few things to try to resolve this issue:
1. Try resetting Internet Explorer - see our Knowledge Article Reset Internet Explorer
2. Try running Windows Updates and make sure everything is updated - see Microsoft's How-To article HERE
3. Try re-installing Internet Explorer - see Microsoft's How-To article HERE
4. Try right clicking on the Internet Explorer icon and choose "Run as Administrator"
5. Go to a different computer and download Chrome or Firefox to a USB flash drive, then use the flash drive on the Elo AIO to install a different browser.
