This article explains how to troubleshoot issues with Windows 10 On-Screen Keyboard not working
1. Check Windows Updates
- Make sure your Operating System is up to date with all updates and patches: Windows 10 Updates
2. Invoke the On-Screen Keyboard:
- Press the following keys on a connected keyboard: Win + Ctrl + O, this should activate the On-Screen Keyboard.
3. Enable On-Screen Keyboard
- Check if you have enabled the On-Screen keyboard in the Ease of Access settings.
- Right click on the Windows Start button then choose Settings then Ease of Access.
- Enable the switch to Use the On-Screen Keyboard.
4. Check to see if Tablet Mode is ON.
- With a physical keyboard connected, press: Win + I to bring up Windows Settings.
- Click on System
- Click Tablet, then click "Change additional tablet settings"
- Under Tablet Mode, move slider to ON
