Elo's Windows 10 systems are sold with Microsoft's Windows 10 LTSB and LTSC versions. These will not allow Microsoft Edge to be installed, but instead use Microsoft's Internet Explorer 11 (IE11). You can read more about that in our Knowledge article HERE .

How Enable Kiosk Mode in IE11 in Windows 10 LTSC

1. Navigate to the folder C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer

a. Locate the file iexplore.exe, right-click it and select Create shortcut

b. Choose, Yes when prompted.

4. Right-click on the IE icon and select Rename

a. Name your shortcut whatever you like, in this example we renamed ours to EloWeb

5. Right-click on the IE Icon and select Properties

a. In the Properties of the Shortcut tab, set the Target to:

"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -k https://elotouch.com (or whatever your website domain is)

Please Note: All quotation marks must be included

6. Choose Apply and OK.

a. IE11 Kiosk mode has now been enabled. You can click on the IE icon on your desktop and it will open up in Kiosk mode. NOTE: To get out of Kiosk mode, connect a keyboard and press Alt + F4 to exit.
